This is a unique piece that explores a journey between Greek mythology and the 17th century, featuring shell-like ornamentation. Each scale is hand-painted. It is accented with two porcelain handles on the sides and a metallic-colored knob that evokes the hue of seaweed.
This piece is hand-built out of stoneware with grog and porcelain from Catalonia (Spain) and hand-painted with stoneware glaze.
Each object is subtly distinctive, and variances in color intensity and weight bring the piece a very unique and special character.
