This lamp is an interpretation of the Sacque Gown Vase and the renowned Ruff Lamp, drawing on the enormous influence of tutus and ruffled garments with lots of movement, causing the rigidity of the material to break on its own as it takes shape.
This piece is hand-built out of stoneware with grog from Catalonia (Spain) and hand-painted with stoneware glaze.
Each object is subtly distinctive, and variances in color intensity and weight bring to the piece a very unique and special character.
